Voluntarios
Internacionales Mexico A.C (VIMEX)
is a Mexican organization founded on December
4th, 1985. However
it began to work in 1982.
Located
in
In
relation to VIMEX’´s international
program, our objective is to support and provide our students the
possibility to have a different points of view about
different types of life and cultures in comparison to ours. Apart
from that, VIMEX promotes leaving together and working in an international
team.
*Promote
the global solidarity, the tolerance and the mutual understanding betwen
the different cultures and races through the International Volunteer
Workcamps.
*Be
capable to detect the necessities of our country in
social, educative and environmental areas.
Objectives:
*Give
support to communities that require volunteer
work.
*To
make young people conscious of their important participation in society..
Vision:
To
reinforce our organization with social, educative, ecological and
environmental awareness with National and International presence
with voluntary work motivating the
development of people with less economical sources.
Type of organization: VIMEX
is an C. A. ( Civil
Association, recognized by the Mexican Government and for the Mexican Laws
) is a
NGO.
Activities: Organizes spanish courses, short term
workcamps, EVS, MTV and LTV’S Projects.
General
Conditions of Participation:
a.- Age
from 18 &
(+) . For the
volunteers of
30 years old or (+)
must have opened mind, and they have to accept the conditions of the camp.
b.- Common
Language: English and Basic Spanish is welcomed (it will be usefull for
the volunteers, they will enjoy
more their time in
c.-
Participation Fee: It
is Requiered in All Our Camps. It must be paid in the bank in
d.- VIMEX
is a non – profit organization and does not have external funding, all
costs of the camp are sustained through participation fees from volunteers.
Therefore all volunteers are expected to pay the Participation Fee.
e.- This
participation fee basically includes food and other expenses in each camp.
Not all the participation fee from the volunteers are assigned for the
camp. The participation fee is divided in 4 parts mainly: Administrative
(Office Rent, Light, Internet, Telephone, Fax, Paper, Copies, Ink,
National and International Memberships, Publicity), Searching of projects
(transportation, hotel, food), Travels to Europe and inner
f.-
Please, each volunteer must bring his/her
own insurance.

Impact Evaluation
PARTICIPATION
FEE: 180 Euros
Ecosta
impels a strategy of handling and conservation of natural resources with 4
thematic topics: natural agroecology resources, economic development and
formation of human resources. Throughout 15 years, 43 projects and actions
have come out where up to 2.000 people have participated. Ecosta has
innovated initiatives in different thematic topics that that include
technological, economic aspects and social issues as an innovating
strategy.
Its
mission is to promote the communities along with; the conservation of the
natural resources, the culture and formation of human resources towards
the sustainable development of “Cuenca Baja of Río Verde”.
WORK:
To make surveys and measurement of
indicators to measure the impact of the presence of the organization in
the region.
ACCOMODATION:
Lodging
in houses of farmers families.
FOOD: Meals wll be provided by the farmer families under
their same daily diet..
LANGUAGE:
Spanish in a
40%.or more.
LOCATION:

FREE TIME: After the daily workings sports
activities can be organized with the children and adults from the
community. Also, exist in the region some tourist attractive beaches and
near places where the volunteers can go.
REQUIREMENTS:
Volunteers with capacity to hand of text
processor and leaf of calculate.

Its
main objective is to
cover physical, psychological and spiritual necessities in the human being.
WORK:
The projects consist to teach English
Language from Monday to Saturday at 50 children (25 girls and 25 boys)
between 3 to 8 years from
ACCOMODATION:
Lodging
in an appartment in the area of work and with a
family on free days..The rooms have bed, bath, water, light, cooks and
utensils, cooking by themselves.
FOOD: Meals wll be provided by the people from the
organization, cooking by
themselves.
LANGUAGE:
Speak and
understand: English and Spanish
in a 40%.
LOCATION:
Salinas Victoria,
Nuevo León State.
FREE TIME: After the daily work,
sports activities can be organized with the children and adults
from the community. Also, exist in the region some tourist attractive and
near places where the volunteers can go.
REQUIREMENTS:
Volunteers with skills in Education and
knowledge of Spanish, Fluency of English language and ability to transmit
their knowledge.

PARTICIPATION

The
main objective is to support
the social justice and dignity of children and young people in street
situation and in risk to be, through of
individual, familial and community actions that influence
in the prevention and attention in the street process.
There
are three projects:
1.
Communitary prevention, 2. Matlapa Observatorio Center. 3. Home “
WORK:
: There are 5 kind of activities in different
areas. After to know the different areas the volunteers will choose
in which area they want
to work.

PARTICIPATION

Street Work: 2.
WORK:
Volunteers work directly with
the children. There are two possibilities which are: supporting the
educators in the first stage of the educational model, Street Work, or in
the second stage of the model,
Street Work:
1.
To
visit children who live in the street in different points of the city.
2.
To
plan the activities of the street work along with the team of educators.
3.
To
obtain all the information needed to start working in a point of
the city.
4.
To
start with the educational process in the street.
5.
To
make a follow-up of the children who started attending the

To
make a follow-up of the children who start attending the
Day Center:
1.
To
create and propose activities aimed to make the children think about their
situation in the street.

To
watch closely the process of each boy in the
