Greenway
Thailand
The
MLTV projects
A : Presentation
PSF/Greenway
started to develop mid and long term voluntary service placements in 2001.
Since the beginning we have been able to host volunteers all over
Thailand
, in different centres and projects. Nowadays our MLTV programme is
concentrated in the
Roiet
Province
, in the North East of Thailand. Activities take place in Denrat village
and its surroundings and they are focused on the following main areas:
-
Education and teaching
-
Environmentalism and agriculture
-
Social, children and youth
Main
aims of the MLTV programme are:
- Providing
on going support for community development to the Foundation;
- Creating
a stable and closer relationship with the local communities, both for
the Foundation and the volunteer;
- Building
bridges between the international community, Thai citizens, Thai
institutions and the NGO sector all over the country;
- Stimulating
the educational development of Thai youngsters through their
participation to equivalent projects.
The
MLTV programme is open to everybody aged 20 or more. No specific
experience or educational background is required.
